BPF MCLA Joy Mushahary joins UPPL

KOKRAJHAR, March 14: The holistic approach for the development of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) government led by Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of the Bodoland Territorial Region, has connected the public and the leaders of the Opposition parties also. Accordingly, Joy Mushahary, BPF MCLA of the Salbari constituency, along with several BPF party leaders, formally joined the UPPL party on Thursday at a program held at Kushrabari Playground under the Salbari constituency in Baksa district.

Joy Mushahary, who was regarded as one of the prominent leaders of the BPF party, was elected to the BTC Legislative Assembly in 2020 from the Salbari constituency. He joined the ruling UPPL party on Thursday and was accompanied by more than 2,500 BPF party workers, including leaders from the district and block committees.

Rajya Sabha MP and UPPL working president Rwngwra Narzary, BTR executive members Ranjit Basumatary, Dhananjay Basumatary, Rakesh Brahma, and senior party leaders graced the program and offered a warm welcome to Joy Mushahary and the newly joined members with traditional Aronai and party mufflers.

MP Narzary said that the BTR government led by Pramod Boro is working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the common masses across communities.

He said that the BTR government is committed to working for the all-round development of society, and accordingly, various missions have been launched and are being implemented across the Bodoland region.

He said that the developmental and welfare activities initiated by the BTR government are getting impressive attraction among the citizens in the entire Bodoland region.

“Let us all unite and work together for the peace, integrity, justice, prosperity, and development of our region under the umbrella of our UPPL party in the Bodoland region,” Narzary added.
