CEM Pramod Boro inaugurates Handloom & Textile Superintendent Office

KOKRAJHAR, Sept 19: Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), inaugurated the newly constructed office of the Superintendent of Handloom & Textiles in Bijni, Chirang district. The inauguration took place during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration in the presence of officials from the Handloom & Textile department.

The newly constructed office holds significant promise for the promotion of Bodoland Territorial Region’s vibrant handloom industry. CEM Boro emphasised the government’s commitment to the all-round development of its citizens and its strong initiative to support the handloom sector.

“The newly-constructed office will significantly aid in our mission to promote the beautiful and vibrant handloom industry of BTR,” Boro stated. The event was attended by other BTR officials, including EMs Dhananjay Basumatary and Ranjit Basumatary, as well as MCLAs Pradip Kumar Bhayan and Madhab Chandra Chetry.
