KHERONI, Jan 9: The Chief Executive Member (CEM), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang, has announced the schedule for the first-ever CEM’s Open Interaction Program, marking a significant step towards fostering direct communication between the Council and the people of Karbi Anglong.
The program is set to commence on January 11, 2025, and will conclude on March 8, 2025, covering all 26 Member of Autonomous Council constituencies across Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong districts.
This initiative provides a platform for citizens to share their needs, aspirations, and concerns directly with the CEM, executive members (EMs), members of legislative assembly (MLAs), members of autonomous council (MACs), and officials of the KAAC.
The initiative is the first of its kind in the districts.
Observers have widely welcomed it as a proactive and people-centric approach for good governance, reflecting the commitment of KAAC to strengthening its connection with the public.
The Open Interaction Program aims to bridge the gap between the authority, administration and the people, ensuring that the voices of all sections of society are heard and addressed.
The schedule for each constituency has been announced, inviting all residents to participate actively in shaping the future of the twin hill districts.
