JAGIROAD, July 13: In a heartbreaking incident, a one-and-a-half-year-old child named Sukhi Mandal lost her life on Wednesday evening at Madanbari Hariapara village, under the jurisdiction of Jagiriad Police Station. The unfortunate incident occurred when Sukhi, while playing at her own house, accidentally slipped into the extensive flood caused by the overflowing river Brahmaputra due to incessant rains.
