DIPHU, Nov 13: Karbi Anglong superintendent of police, Sanjib Kumar Saikia inaugurated a library
Serdihun English High School, Langtuk Tisso village, near Zero Point of Dillai limestone quarry in Karbi
Anglong district.
The library had been constructed as part of the civic action programme of the 20 battalion of the Central
Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The battalion also donated 200 books, two book shelves and furniture to
the school.
The 20 battalion of the CRPF under the aegis of IG (OPS) Jorhat sector has been carrying out civic action
programmes for the welfare of poor people in the Karbi Anglong district like construction of toilet
blocks, installation of solar street lights, organizing sports activities, free medical camps and distributing
free medicines.
