Declamation Contest On ‘My Bharat, Viksit Bharat @2047’

MORIGAON, Jan 10: In a spirited initiative, the Nehru Youth Kendra under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, orchestrated a thought-provoking declamation contest at Ghanakanta Barua College on Wednesday, centered around the theme ‘My Bharat, Viksit Bharat @2047’.

The official inauguration of the declamation contest was graced by Dr Bishnu Prasad Upadhyai, principal of Ghanakanta Barua College. Dr Achyut Kumar Das, associate professor at Morigaon College, Dalim Phukan, senior journalist, and Sushil Saikia, associate professor at Ghanakanta Barua College, played key roles in conducting the competition, ensuring its smooth progression.

Dhananjay Talukdar, accountant and program officer at Nehru Yuva Kendra, skillfully managed the proceedings of the contest, which saw active participation from over 30 contestants. The winners emerged with Gargi Bharti clinching the first prize, Nista Halar securing the second prize, and Jahnabi Deka earning the third prize.

The three distinguished judges provided insightful feedback on the declamation contest, enriching the participants’ experience. Following the competition, each contestant was honored with a certificate and prizes, acknowledging their eloquence and contribution to the engaging event.
