SIVASAGAR, Feb 8: Dembiram Panging of Sivasagar was elected the executive president of All India ONGC SCST Employees Welfare Association (AIONGCSCSTEWA) in the elections held on February 6, at TIC Hall, IDT Compass Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun.
The elections of the central committee of scheduled castes and tribes employees of ONGC were held in various states across India.

Dembiram Panging is currently the chairman of the state unit of the ONGC’s Assam Asset Scheduled Castes and Tribes Employees Welfare Association.
The 27-member committee with Bipin Kumar as president, Dembiram Panging as executive president and S Ganatharan as general secretary including one more member Gahin Basumatary as the regional vice president was announced by the Returning Officer Satish C Kawwali on Feb 7.
The welfare association of the Assam Asset on Saturday expressed their happiness over the result and congratulated the newly elected executive president.
