Girl Goes Missing In Jorhat

JORHAT: A 19-year-old girl, believed to be a US citizen with her parents originally from a locality in Jorhat, has been reported missing from her residence since Saturday. The girl’s father has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) at the Jorhat police station, expressing concern over his daughter’s disappearance.

According to a police source, the girl left her residence without taking her mobile handset with her. Authorities are actively engaged in efforts to trace her whereabouts. The girl had accompanied her parents to Jorhat during the summer vacation and was scheduled to depart in July.

The sudden disappearance of the young girl has raised concerns among her family and the local community. The police are investigating the matter and pursuing all available leads to ensure her safe return.
