GUWAHATI, June 19:
Guwahati International Airport has recently welcomed a heavy-duty, modern grass-cutting equipment to its premises. As per airport regulations and safety norms, regular grass cutting is essential on the airfield. During the inauguration of the machine at the airport, chief airport officer Utpal Baruah, along with several senior officers, expressed their satisfaction with this new addition. Baruah stated, “The grass growth at this airport is rapid, and continuous maintenance is of utmost importance. With the introduction of the new TRILO machine, we now have the capability to ensure continuous grass-cutting throughout all seasons. This development has propelled us further towards modernising the airport. The new TRILO machine is capable of cleaning an area measuring 14,400 square meters in just one hour.”
