Assam: Illegal earth cutting

BOKAJAN, March 30: Anti Corruption Youth Power of Assam (ACYPA), Karbi Anglong submitted a memorandum to the Bokajan (C) SDO regarding the use of excavators to illegally cut earth in Bokajan area.

President of ACYPA, Karbi Anglong, Citra Baruah said people from Dimapur, Nagaland, come with excavators and dumper trucks and cut earth wherever they wish. They are doing so without following any rules and regulations.

The illegal earth cutting is seen in Lahorijan, Khatkhati, Bokajan, and Amrajan area of Bokajan LA area said AJYCP president Karbi Anglong Citra Baruah.
