MORIGAON, Aug 30: An interactive session took place at the District Information and Public Relation Officer’s (DIPRO) office between Pompy Devi, the newly appointed DIPRO, and members of the Morigaon District Journalists’ Association (MDJA) on Wednesday. The position of DIPRO had remained vacant for nearly two years, causing difficulties in both office operations and addressing the concerns of media personnel.
During the session, the MDJA extended a warm welcome to DIPRO Pompy Devi and pledged their cooperation in resolving various issues faced by media professionals. Attendees at the meeting included notable figures such as senior journalist Dalim Phukan, MDJA president Birinchi Sarma, MDJA secretary Jitumoni Nath, and senior journalist Ajit Sarma.
