KAAC EM Lunsing Teron To Host Health Check-Up Event On November 5

DIPHU, Nov 2: The executive member (EM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Panchayat & Rural Development (P&RD) and Irrigation, Lunsing Teron has organised a one day free health check-up and distribution of medicines in memory of his late mother Kajir Ronghangpi on November 5 at Rasinja Aklam in Dokmoka.

Informing this, the EM said on November five free health check-up for villagers will be organised at Rasinja Aklam, Dokmoka.

It is worth mentioning that the health camp is organised under Howraghat LA segment covering 6 Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) constituencies of Karbi Anglong i.e. Nonmati, Howraghat, Phuloni, Mahamaya, Langhin and Langfer where free medicines will also be distributed.

“I am organising the health check-up camp in order to reach out health facilities to the villagers as many can’t go to hospital and buy good medicines. The health camp is organised in memory of my late mother Kajir Ronghangpi,” the EM said.

He also said critical illness can be brought on that day for free check-up as expert doctors have been hired.

The doctors are; Dr.Chandan Modak, MBBS, MD, DM (Cardiology); Dr. B.C Roy, MS (ENT), Head and Neck Surgical Oncology (AIIMS, New Delhi); Dr. P.K Bhattacharya (M.S., Orthopedic); Dr. Bhaskar Jyoti Kakati (MD, Medicines); Dr. Abhishek Agarwal, MD (Pulmonologist); Dr. Jayanta Thakuria M.S (Eye specialist and dr. Golap Ch. Dutta, MBBS, DGO Gynaecologist.
