GUWAHATI, Nov 19: To commemorate the birthday of Sishupran Nabin Chandra Sarma, Nabin Sarma Smriti Chora felicitated renowned writer and journalist Nirupama Borgohain at her residence on Monday, in a befitting manner. Dr Chayanika Sharma, the president of the Nabin Sarma Smriti Chora, accompanied by general secretary Bhaskar Kaushik, assistant secretary Dhrubajyoti Sarma, convenor Dr Pradip Sharma, treasurer Nagen Sarma, and Nilakshi Chakravarty, offered some gifts, including a write-up on her contributions to the field of literature and journalism, to Borgohain.
She reminisced about the activities of Sishupran Nabin Chandra Sarma, particularly his contributions to the overall development of children. She also highlighted how those activities impacted children across different generations.
