KOKRAJHAR, March 17: Chief executive member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro distributed appointment letters among the newly recruited anganawadi workers and helpers under Social welfare department of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) on Friday at a programme held at BTC secretariat conference hall, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar.
A total 23 persons including 12 anganwadi workers, 11 anganwadi helpers have been given away appointment letters under Sidli-Chirang ICDS project in Chirang district under the guidance of chief minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma to provide ICDS services along the Indo-Bhutan border areas of Bodoland Territorial Region.
Handing over the appointment letters, Boro said that the UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance BTR government is committed for ensuring child rights and protection in the region as envisioned in the mission vatsalya. He informed that BTR government have so far launched various mission and visions to make massive ushering of sustainable development and welfare initiative across the region.
