NAGAON, July 5: Nine students from Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV) have been selected for the Gandhi Fellowship 2023. Among them, five students are from the department of Social Work, while four students are from the department of Sociology. The selected students are Paripurna Gogoi, Krishnamoyee Devi, Bishnu Das, Ritiika J Konwar, and Subrata Goswami from the department of Social Work, and Janti Mazumdar, Disha Ghosh, Pompi Paul, and Parinita Bora from the department of Sociology.
The Gandhi Fellowship, awarded since 2008, aims to inspire young students in India. Professor Mridul Hazarika, vice chancellor of the university, Prof Mrinal Kumar Bora, registrar, Babul Bora, director (Finance and Planning) and chief coordinator, along with the university family, congratulated the students on their remarkable achievement.
