KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 28: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma spearheaded a vibrant campaign rally on Sunday in Kokrajhar seeking support for the NDA alliance candidate in the Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing enthusiastic crowds at multiple venues across the region, Sarma expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support pouring in from diverse communities.

Sarma highlighted the widespread endorsement received by NDA candidates across all constituencies, including the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.

“The resounding support from people belonging to various communities underscores their faith in the NDA’s vision for development,” Sarma emphasised during his address at Fakiragram under Baukhungri – Parbatjhora LAC.

Asserting the NDA’s track record in fostering welfare and progress, Sarma lauded the alliance’s governance in both the Bodoland Territorial Region and in the state of Assam.

“Our relentless commitment for citizens’ welfare has led to significant developmental strides,” he stated, pointing to the NDA’s third consecutive term prospects under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Expressing confidence in the NDA’s electoral prospects, Sarma predicted a substantial victory margin for NDA candidate Joyanta Basumatary in the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.

“The overwhelming support we witnessed today reflects the people’s trust in our alliance,” Sarma remarked.

Joining Sarma in rallying support was Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, who echoed the sentiments of gratitude and optimism.

“The outpouring of support for Joyanta Basumatary underscores the deep-rooted affection for the NDA alliance,” Boro proclaimed, expressing certainty in securing victory in the upcoming elections.

The campaign witnessed a massive turnout, with Sarma addressing three electrifying rallies across the region, accompanied by key ministers and party members. From Kadamtola to Fakiragram and Srirampur, the fervor of support for the NDA alliance resonated among the crowds, with over thirty thousand supporters and well-wishers rallying behind the cause.

As the campaign gains momentum, the NDA alliance stands poised to translate this groundswell of support into a decisive victory in the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, signalling a new chapter of progress and development for the region.
