GUWAHATI, Oct 25: The six-day Garba Utsav, organized by the NGO Rotary Club of Guwahati Smart City at Sonaram Field in Bharalumukh, came to a vibrant conclusion, filled with zest and zeal. The event, led by Program Chairman Binay Didwania, witnessed an overwhelming turnout of Guwahatians, many dressed in traditional colorful dandiya attire, particularly the youth.

The festivities were enlivened by lively dances to the beats played by renowned DJs and a live band, all in the presence of several Bollywood artists. Project Convenor Ravi Agarwalla remarked that the visitors danced in groups and reveled in the festivities. The Rotary Club of Guwahati Smart City was lauded for its efforts in organizing such an event and giving the community a chance to see their favorite Bollywood stars.

Throughout the festival, visitors were spotted taking selfies with friends and family against the backdrop of the lively celebrations. Daily prizes were awarded in various categories, and the Rotary Club pledged to bring more such events in the future.

Agarwalla emphasized that the event served as a fundraiser for the NGO Rotary Club of Guwahati Smart City to support various social initiatives aimed at helping the needy and underprivileged throughout the year. They received substantial support from organizations like the Rotaract Club of Rongali Guwahati, Maheswari Yuva Sangh, and Aura Entertainment, as well as other NGOs. In addition, they enjoyed cooperation from the District Administration, Guwahati Police, media outlets, and various government departments and agencies, all contributing to the event’s grand success.
