DIPHU, Feb 12: With a commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to residents in remote areas, the Health & Family Welfare/NHM, Karbi Anglong, conducted a health camp at Nahorsala LP School, Chowkihola, under Chowkihola Block Primary Health Centre, as part of the Swasthya Sewa Abhiyan (SSA) program on Monday.
Specialised healthcare professionals from Diphu provided comprehensive health check-up services to the public during the special health camp. The event was part of ongoing efforts to extend healthcare accessibility to far-flung communities. The department also distributed free medicines to those in need. In this successful health camp, approximately 140 patients underwent health check-ups, and necessary medications were provided based on individual requirements. The initiative aimed not only to address immediate health concerns but also to promote long-term well-being within the community.
