Ten varieties of Sali paddy transplanted

DIPHU, Aug 19: Transplanting of 10 varieties of sali paddy as part of Rice Varietal Crop Cafeteria was done at Mohongdijua in Lumbajong agriculture development officer (ADO) Circle.
On the land provided by the executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Amar Sing Tisso the following variety of paddy were transplanted- Numali (2), Nal bora, CR 309, Ranjit Sub 1, Bokul Joha, Bahadur Sub 1, Bina 17, Keteki Joha, Bina Dhan 11, Swarna Sub 1. The purpose is to see the best variety of paddy that is suited to the area.
On the occasion ADO, Bakalia, Rukheswar Timung; farmer Athik Tisso, ADO Lumbajong, Pirbi Tissopi and others.
