Three students secured ranks in HS examination from Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH, June 6: Three students from Dibrugarh secured ranks in Higher Secondary examination-2023 from the Commerce stream.

 

Surya Jain secured fourth rank while Rashita Sharma bagged eighth rank in the Commerce stream from Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh.

Surya Jain secured 467 out of 500, and top scored in Maths with 98 marks.

 

Surya will pursue B.com from D.H.S.K Commerce college, Dibrugarh.

“I am grateful to my teachers and parents because they motivated me during my examination. During examination, I have done regular studies and taken private tution for Accountancy,” Surya said.

 

Surya is a resident of Dibrugarh, Grehambazar.

 

On the other hand, Rashita Sharma secured 462 out of 500 and top scored in Accountancy with 97 marks. Rashita will pursue B.com from Dibrugarh.  Rashita is a resident of Talap in Tinsukia district. Her father Tapan Sharma expired many years ago.

 

“I am very happy from my daughter. She worked hard and expected a good result,” said Smita Rekha Sharma, mother of Rashita.

 

Another student Yusuf Ansari secured eight rank in Commerce stream from Moran Senior Secondary school.

 

A total of 9577 students from Dibrugarh district apprered in the Higher Secondary Final examinatiin-2023 and out of that 6996 students passed. The overall pass percentage of Dibrugarh was 73.05.
