GUWAHATI, Aug 17: Due to pre non-interlocking work at Rampurhat, Swadhinpur, Nalhati, and Chatra stations for the commissioning of the 3rd line between Rampurhat and Chatra in the Rampurhat-Gumani section under the Howrah division of Eastern Railway, certain trains passing through that section under NFR have been either cancelled or diverted as follows: cancellation of trains include train no 13181 (Kolkata – Silghat Town) Express on August 21, 28, and September 4, 2023, along with train no 13182 (Silghat Town – Kolkata) Express on August 22, 29, and September 5, 2023. Also, train no 15662 (Kamakhya – Ranchi) Express on August 22, 29, and September 5, 2023, and train no 15661 (Ranchi – Kamakhya) Express on August 23, 30, and September 6, 2023. Trains are diverted via the New Farakka – Azimganj – Katwa – Bandel route, including train no 13174 (Agartala – Sealdah) Kanchanjunga Express from August 17 to September 3, 2023, train no 13150 (Alipurduar Jn. – Sealdah) Kanchan Kanya Express and train no 13148 (Bamanhat – Sealdah) Uttar Banga Express from August 17 to September 5, 2023, Train no 22504 (Dibrugarh – Kanniyakumari) Terminus Vivek Express from August 17 to September 3, 2023, train no 13176 (Silchar – Sealdah) Kanchanjunga Express from August 18 to September 4, 2023, and train no 12364 (Haldibari – Kolkata) Superfast Express from August 18 to September 6, 2023, among others. Additionally, some trains are being diverted via the Bandel – Katwa – Azimganj – New Farakka route, such as train no 12041 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) Shatabdi Express and train no 13053 (Howrah – Radhikapur) Kulik Express from August 18 to September 6, 2023, and train no 22301 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) Vande Bharat Express on September 1 and 4, 2023. Trains are also being diverted via the Naihati Jn. – Bandel – Katwa – Azimganj – New Farakka route, including train no 13173 (Sealdah – Agartala) Kanchanjunga Express from August 18 to September 5, 2023, and train no 13175 (Sealdah – Silchar) Kanchanjunga Express from August 19 to September 6, 2023, among others. These changes aim to accommodate infrastructural work while ensuring minimal disruption to travel schedules.
