GUWAHATI, Jun 07: Amazon India has launched a new initiative called the ‘Yoga Store’ to promote a healthy and fit lifestyle in alignment with the Government of India’s vision. The store offers a wide range of yoga essentials from Indian sellers, aiming to support the growth of emerging Indian brands and manufacturers in the health and fitness category. The launch event was attended by Sarbananda Sonowal, the Minister of AYUSH and Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India, who commended Amazon India for its contribution to the Prime Minister’s vision of a healthy India.
Manish Tiwary, the Vice President & Country Manager, Consumer Business, Amazon India, expressed excitement about supporting the government’s initiative and providing high-quality yoga products, equipment, and resources to customers. “The Yoga Store not only promotes physical, mental, and spiritual wellness but also emphasizes Amazon India’s commitment to nurturing and supporting local manufacturers and sellers,” he added.P
The Amazon India Yoga Store offers access to thousands of sellers and over 10,000 different products. Customers can enjoy a holistic shopping experience and find great deals on various yoga essentials, including yoga mats, blocks, yoga wheels, and accessories from top brands. Additionally, the store plans to expand its offerings in sub-categories such as Aerial Yoga, Iyengar Yoga products, Yoga mats for Kids, Travel Yoga mats, and more. This initiative aims to encourage more people to adopt a healthier lifestyle and contribute to the growth of the Indian e-commerce and entrepreneurship sectors.
