NEW DELHI, Jan 8: OPPO India recently launched its new Reno15 Series, expanding its premium smartphone portfolio with a strong focus on travel photography, artificial intelligence and refined design.

The lineup includes three models — Reno15 Pro, Reno15 Pro Mini and Reno15 — aimed primarily at young users and photography enthusiasts.

The Reno15 Pro and Pro Mini are equipped with a 200MP main camera, paired with a 50MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom.

The camera system is supported by OPPO’s PureTone Imaging Technology and a suite of AI-based editing tools designed to enhance portraits, landscapes and low-light shots.

A 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera is also included across the series.

Commenting on the launch, OPPO India Head of Communications Goldee Patnaik said the company has seen a clear shift among Indian consumers towards premium experiences, particularly in camera performance, AI features and design.

She said the Reno15 Series builds on the brand’s growing user base by offering meaningful upgrades focused on real-world usage rather than incremental changes.

A key design highlight of the series is OPPO’s new HoloFusion Technology, which introduces a layered, three-dimensional visual effect on a single-piece glass back.

This is complemented by the Dynamic Stellar Ring camera layout.

The phones are offered in multiple colour options inspired by natural elements, including Sunset Gold, Cocoa Brown, Glacier White, Crystal Pink, Twilight Blue and Aurora Blue, depending on the model.

The Reno15 Pro Mini marks the first “Pro Mini” device in the Reno lineup, combining flagship specifications with a compact form factor.

It features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, while the standard Reno15 and Reno15 Pro come with larger AMOLED panels.

All models support up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rates, high brightness levels and slim bezels for an immersive viewing experience.

In terms of durability, the Reno15 Series features OPPO’s All-Round Armour Body with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and sponge bionic cushioning.

The devices carry IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust, water immersion and high-pressure hot water.

On the performance front, the Reno15 Pro and Pro Mini are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, while the Reno15 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

The series also integrates OPPO’s AI LinkBoost and AI HyperBoost technologies to improve connectivity, gaming stability and overall responsiveness.

Battery capacity ranges from 6,200mAh to 6,500mAh across the models, with support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. The Pro variant additionally offers 50W wireless charging.

OPPO claims the devices are designed for long-term battery health and heavy daily usage.

The Reno15 Series runs on ColorOS 16, which brings enhanced AI features, smoother animations and deeper integration with Google Gemini.

The operating system includes tools such as AI Recorder, AI Writer and AI Mind Space, alongside privacy protections through OPPO’s AI Private Computing Cloud.

Alongside the smartphones, OPPO also introduced the Reno15c, featuring a 7,000mAh battery, as well as new ecosystem products including the OPPO Pad 5 tablet and OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro+ wireless earbuds.

In terms of pricing, the Reno15 Pro starts at Rs 67,999, the Reno15 Pro Mini at Rs 59,999, and the Reno15 at Rs 45,999. The devices will go on sale from January 13, 2026, across major online platforms, mainline retail outlets and the OPPO e-store.
