ITANAGAR, April 20: The Arunachal Democratic Party (ADP) inaugurated its new party office on Sunday at Bucho Complex, Papu Nallah, Naharlagun, marking what it described as a significant milestone for the party.
According to an official statement, the inauguration was led by ADP General Secretary Kipa Natung in the presence of ADP Spokesperson Johnny Yangfo, along with other party leaders and supporters.
Natung stated that the office, which was previously located near the State Assembly, has now been shifted to a more accessible location.
“This place is in between both Itanagar and Naharlagun and is in the centre point and accessible for everyone,” he said.
He also announced that the party is preparing to contest the upcoming local body elections, including the Panchayat and municipal polls.
“Our party is ready and even planned to field candidates… willing candidates should come forward for the same and we will give them a platform,” Natung added.
Emphasizing the ADP’s commitment to clean politics, he said the party would focus on fighting the influence of money in elections.
“We shall look forward to working in a better way for the people of state and the most important is that the money culture… our party will go to people and work to create awareness among the citizens against the money culture prevailing in elections which is not good for healthy democracy,” he said.
Natung also appealed to like-minded individuals to join the party in its mission for the all-round development of the state and the country.
