IMPHAL, Sept 18: Two fresh infections reported in the last 24 hours took the Covid-19 infection tally of Manipur to 1,39,780 on Friday.
The fatality toll, however, remained unchanged at 2,148 with no death due to the disease reported on the day, for the 13th consecutive day.
The active cases in the State declined to 31 against 33 on the previous day after four patients were discharged upon recovery on the day against the two fresh cases.

The recovery tally rose to 1,37,601 and the recovery rate stood at 98.44%, the State Health department informed in its latest Covid-19 bulletin.
The two fresh cases were detected upon testing of 220 samples in the last 24 hours and the test positivity rate of the day was 0.9%.
The fresh cases were reported in Imphal West and Churachandpur, the bulletin said.
The cumulative doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in the State rose to 32,13,975 with 1,822 more doses administered on Thursday.
The total included 16,39,393 first dose and 13,17,414 second dose as the number of precautionary doses so far administered rose to 2,57,168, the health bulletin added. (NNN)
