NSCN-IM issues clarification

DIMAPUR, Jan 27: The NSCN-IM has clarified this evening that it has, in any manner, no connection regarding the incident of arson that took place in K Songlung village in Kangpokpi district of Manipur and as claimed by ZUF (Kamson) which has been in the social media platforms.

“What is regretted is the dragging the name of NSCN in the incident”, the NSCN-IM said in a statement.

The NSCN-IM also said it was unfounded and malicious. “In no manner whatsoever we are connected with ZUF (Kamson) for this kind of operation against poppy cultivation”, the NSCN-IM added. (NNN)
