DIPHU, Sept 5: In showing their love and respect to teacher and on the occasion of 61st birth anniversary of the first Vice President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the children of Badminton academy of Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) organised teacher’s day celebration to honour the academy coaches. The children wished the coaches on the occasion of teacher’s day and presented bouquet, gifts and Karbi traditional turbans to Badminton secretary, Kensing Engti and coaches Thong Teron, Amrit Rongpi, Ram Rathore, Akshay Mishra and senior player Dr. Jacqueline Teronpi.
A cake presented by the academy children was cut by Badminton secretary, Rongpi along with other coaches. To entertain the coaches the academy children presented some stage performances.
