TEZPUR, Nov 22: Under the aegis of Sonitpur district archery association, a two-day long All Assam Inter-District Archery Championship competition will be held in memory of former Tezpur MP late Joseph Toppo on November 23 and 24 at Polofield here.
President and secretary of Sonitpur district archery association, Ritubaran Sarmah and Madhusmita Hazarika respectively informed that the organising committee has completed its all sort of preparation and is ready to welcome nearly 200 participants from different districts of the state.

“The event will be formally inaugurated by Tezpur MP, Pallab Lochan Das at 10. 30 Am on November 23. Boys and girls of 9 and 14 years above will participate in this two-day long event. We expect cooperation from all concerned to make the event a grand success,” officials said.
