DONGKAMUKAM, Aug 16: All Assam Hockey Men’s and Women’s Inter District Championship will kick off at Waisong Stadium in West Karbi Anglong from August 28.
Announcing this, the general secretary of Assam hockey Association and also the Treasurer Assam of Olympic Association (AOA), Tapan Das said  West Karbi Anglong Sports Association (WKASA) and Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) will be organising the event in Dongkamukam that will conclude on September 4.

Earlier, the inspection team led by Technical Director and 1st State coach, Mohan Ch Bora and Convenor Technical, Assam Hockey Association, Nasiruddin Ahmed inspected the field status of Waisong Stadium and who were satisfied by it.
