Summer camp promotes specialised activities at Dahali LP School

GUWAHATI, July 4: 
A five-day summer camp aimed at promoting a wide variety of specialised activities such as performing arts, music, tree plantation, and health and wellness was organised by the 31 No Dahali L.P School at Batarhat in Kamrup district, starting from July 1. The camp was inaugurated by Anil Kalita, the head teacher of the L.P School, on the first day. Assistant teacher Deepika Das Chowdhury also addressed the students and parents, highlighting the significance of summer camps.
Over a hundred students participated in the event, showcasing their talents in Bihu dance, modern dance, poetry recitation, and various games. The camp was attended by the school’s president, Kandarpa Das, advisor Khirod Das, and the teachers – Monti Das, Rumi Kalita Medhi, Gitumani Das, and Sagarika Das, among others. The summer camp provided a platform for students to explore their interests and engage in enriching activities during the break from regular classes.
