TEZPUR, June 26: Rivtra LLP, a pioneering startup in inland waterway cargo transportation, successfully conducted a trial run for its new service, Krishi Jal Parivahan, on June 24, 2024. The trial, which took place from Jahajghat, Tezpur to Dhing Ghat, Nagaon, involved key stakeholders including Giriraj Goigoi, S.O. Inland Waterways Transport (IWT) Tezpur, Hari Lal Jadav, IWT Tezpur, Biswajit Saikia, founder of Rivtra LLP, and traders Abhijit Barua and Yashir Ali.
The trial utilized the boat S.B. PANCHANANI and focused on safety checks, route mapping, survey, and load connections.

Local farmers engaged in encouraging discussions with the trader team, expressing their support for the initiative, which promises to transform the way farm produce is transported to markets.

With the successful completion of the trial run, Rivtra LLP is now awaiting an official order from the Inland Waterways Transport Department to commence regular services from Jahajghat, Tezpur.
