The participants became nostalgic in each other’s company, sharing and recounting their school day memories over a hearty meal together.

The group stood silently for a minute praying for the 18 class mates who are no longer alive.

A 36 member committee was formed in the meeting with Manoj Kumar Bhagwati as president, Rajiv Barpujari as secretary, Chandan Das, assistant secretary and Phulbar Dihingia as the Treasurer. The batch mates with former DGP Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta and a number of retired bureaucrats among them took three resolutions:

first to make a detailed information of the families of the deceased members, second to honour the teachers that taught them, and awarding talented students of the school showing skills in sports and scientific adaptations.
