AIGMF holds historic executive meeting in Kaziranga

GUWAHATI, March 9: 
The All India Glass Manufacturers Federation (AIGMF) made history by hosting its Executive Meeting at Kaziranga, Assam, under the hospitality of NES Refractories LLP.

This marks the first time in AIGMF’s 80-year history that the Federation’s executive meeting was held in Kaziranga, Assam.

The meeting saw participation from esteemed delegates from India and abroad, including Japan, USA, Uganda, and Indonesia.

The program was moderated by Aman Gupta, Managing Partner of NES Refractories LLP.

The meeting featured participation from prominent national and international companies, including Nippon Electric Glass Co. Japan, Gold Plus Glass Industry Ltd., Schott Poonawala Pvt. Ltd., Borosil, AGI, Iconic Glass, Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute, among others.

The meeting included insightful sessions on topics such as ‘Towards Sustainable Glass Manufacturing’, ‘Flat Glass for Green Building and CSR initiatives’, ‘The Power of Diversity: Women Leaders Transforming Growth’, and ‘Role of Science in Glass Manufacturing’. These sessions are also available on the AIGMF website.

AIGMF president Rajesh Khosla, PK Shukla (president, Schott Glass), Sheeveer Kherika (MD, Borosil Glass), Aman Gupta (MD,NES Refractories) were present on dais.
