KOKRAJHAR, June 4: Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), inaugurated the newly constructed Martyr Sujit Narzary Memorial Auditorium at the Goreswar Primary Bodo Sahitya Sabha Office complex in Tamulpur on Wednesday.
The auditorium, built under the Government of BTR’s infrastructure development mission, is expected to serve as a dynamic platform for local youth to showcase and nurture their talents, while fostering community engagement and unity in the region.
Alongside the inauguration, CEM Boro laid the foundation stone for the road connecting Dhepargaon Ashmaa Chowk to the Puthimari Embankment. He also inaugurated a newly constructed boundary wall with an iron gate at the Dhulabari Nadipar Religious Institute in the Goreswar constituency.
Expressing the government’s commitment to regional development and welfare, CEM Boro emphasized the focus on strengthening infrastructure across BTR.
Further, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Haj Bhawan at Chandigarh in Tamulpur district under the Goreswar constituency. Highlighting its significance, Boro stated, “The upcoming Haj Bhawan will serve as a vital support centre for Muslim pilgrims from the region, while also providing a dedicated space for community welfare, cultural exchange, and public service activities.”
