MARGHERITA, June 6: Margherita police station officer-in-charge Protap Gogoi on Thursday night apprehended four juveniles in a rape case took place at Alubari under Margherita police station in Tinsukia.
According to sources four teenagers hailing from Alubari under Margherita police station have been raping a minor girl at their locality. An FIR in this regard has been lodged with Margherita police station by the victim’s family members.

Margherita police registered a case number 65/25 US 127(2)/ 70(2) BNS R/W 6 POCSO Act and on Friday all of them were produced before Margherita sub-divisional magistrate court.
The victim’s family members have demanded stringent punishment to all the four accused.
