SIVASAGAR, July 13: The 13th All Assam Children’s Drama Festival, organised by Sivasagar Natya Vidyalaya, is scheduled to take place on July 26 and 27 in Sivasagar. A meeting was held at Sivasagar Fuleswari Girls’ HS School to discuss the preparations for the festival. Dr Govin Handique presided over the meeting, during which a celebration committee was formed.

The committee includes Rama Gogoi as the president, with Ratul Bharali, Rohini Gogoi, and Gautam Koch serving as working presidents. Rupa Bora, Nilutpal Buragohain, Jitu Dutta, Tutu Phukan, and Bhuban Hazarika have been appointed as vice presidents. The roles of joint secretaries will be fulfilled by Rituporna Borgohain and Akashjyoti Duwori, while Kamal Chiring will serve as the treasurer. The inaugural function will feature the release of the souvenir Ankuran. Additionally, a drama workshop will be conducted as part of the festival.
