15 Bodo youths shine in APSC CCE 2023

BTR initiatives like Bodofa Super 50 credited for fostering talent & representation

KOKRAJHAR, Dec 6: In a significant achievement, a total of 15 candidates from the Bodo community have successfully cleared the Assam Public Service Commission’s Combined Competitive Examination 2023, as the results were declared on Thursday across the state.

The successful performance of Bodo youths in the APSC examination has brought the bright limelight to the younger generations participating in competitive examinations in the state.

Among the 15 cleared candidates from the community, five were representatives of the Bodofa Super 50 mission, an initiative of the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

The successful candidates include: Fami Mushahary, Himadri Mech, Maya Rani Basumatary, Manjit Basumatary, Shrijeet Basumatary, Gunajeer Baro, Gwmbwr Ramchiary, Himashri Boro, Doddle Basumatary, Wilborn Basumatary, Nixon Jwngma Basumatary, Mitul Boro, Khwmdwn Mushahar, and Pachurjya Pallab Muchahari.

“This accomplishment reflects the growing participation and success of the Bodo community in competitive examinations, paving the way for increased representation in Assam’s administrative framework. This success serves as an inspiration for other aspiring candidates from the community to aim for excellence in competitive examinations in the near future,” said a spokesperson.

Notably, the government of Bodoland Territorial Region has launched several initiatives, including the Bodofa Super 50 mission for UPSC and APSC coaching, to foster human resource development in the Bodoland region. Several students are currently undergoing coaching for civil services in reputed institutions in Guwahati and New Delhi.

Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, extended his congratulations and best wishes to all the candidates who cleared the APSC examinations in the state. He particularly congratulated the successful candidates from the Bodo community, stating that this marks a step towards social upliftment and integration, as younger generations achieve success in competitive examinations across the state. He emphasised that the BTR government is dedicated to the welfare and development of its citizens.

The All Bodo Students Union and Bodo Sahitya Sabha also hailed the achievement and extended their best wishes and congratulations to all the successful candidates of the APSC examinations in the state.
