Before the ribbon was cut and the inaugural plaque unveiled, the gathering paused to pay heartfelt tributes to the brave souls who laid down their lives in service of the motherland. Their memory served as a solemn reminder of the values and principles that AGP stands for.

The festivities were further enhanced by 500 former student leaders, among them illustrious personalities like Gitartha Saikia and Biswajit Gogoi, who chose to join the AGP family on this auspicious occasion. Their decision reflects not only their faith in the party’s vision but also their commitment to contributing to its organisational strength.

Moreover, the day witnessed a significant influx of former members from the Congress party into AGP’s ranks. This influx is poised to invigorate the party’s organisational activities and broaden its reach across the region.

In his address, Atul Bora, the minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, extended heartfelt gratitude to AGP Central Committee vice-presidents, general secretaries, and all office bearers and karmakartas, acknowledging their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts. Special recognition was also given to the BJP and Sanmilita Ganashakti district functionaries for their support and presence at the ceremony.
