BOKAJAN, May 27: In a proud moment for the Borjan region, Dr. Kadom Tissopi, who recently completed her MBBS, was felicitated by the Asom Jatiyabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) for her achievement.
A resident of Koilajan Udenge Tisso, Dr. Tissopi is the daughter of Longki Tisso and Ambika Teronpi. She has earned the distinction of being the first woman from the Borjan area to successfully complete the MBBS degree.
The felicitation ceremony was led by Sandeep Saikia, President of the AJYCP Bokajan Regional Committee, and was attended by Jitu Phukon, Central Executive Committee (CEC) member of AJYCP; Horen Engti, advisor, and several other members of the organization.
Speaking on the occasion, Jitu Phukon expressed pride in Dr. Tissopi’s accomplishment, stating, “It is a historic moment for the Borjan area, and we wholeheartedly congratulate Dr. Kadom Tissopi on this significant milestone.”
The AJYCP members lauded her achievement as a source of inspiration for young women across the region, particularly in the field of medical education.
