GUWAHATI, Aug 14: Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria inaugurated the official website of Raj Bhavan in a significant event held in the conference hall on Monday. The unveiling ceremony witnessed the presence of Raj Bhavan officers, staff, and members of the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
The newly launched website adheres to the established protocols set by the government of Assam and is accessible in the English language.
Highlighting the importance of a website for institutions like Raj Bhavan, Governor Kataria emphasised its role as a vital tool. He underlined the alignment with the Digital India Mission and expressed that the website’s creation would empower the general public to easily, accurately, and effectively access information related to Raj Bhavan Assam.
Commissioner and secretary to the Governor, SS Meenakshi Sundaram, graced the launch event with his presence, further affirming the significance of the website in enhancing accessibility and transparency.
The launch of the official Raj Bhavan website represents a step forward in embracing digital platforms to share essential information with the public, thereby fostering greater engagement and awareness.
