TEZPUR, July 23: The 30th Assam Rifles, based in Lokra near Tezpur, Sonitpur district, organised a heartwarming celebration of ‘National Parents Day’ at the Assam Rifles High School on Saturday. The event was dedicated to showing deep respect, honour, and appreciation to parents for their unwavering love, sacrifices, and dedication in raising and nurturing their children.

The occasion served as a poignant reminder for people to express gratitude and acknowledge the profound impact parents have on shaping the lives of their children and future generations. The event witnessed the participation of 55 students and 36 parents, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere.

The initiative taken by Assam Rifles to celebrate ‘National Parents Day’ underscores the importance of cherishing and valuing the crucial role parents play in the upbringing and development of their children.
