Assam Rifles distributes equipment

BISWANATH CHARIALI, March 14: In a collaborative effort between Assam Rifles and Gyan Jyoti Organisation, the distribution of assistive equipment to people with disabilities was carried out on Thursday at Battalion Headquarters, Lokra, stated a press release. Under this program, people with disabilities were identified in Sonitpur district and provided with tailored assistive devices to meet their unique needs. These devices ranged from mobility aids like wheelchairs and crutches to hearing aids and other supportive tools, fostering independence and improved accessibility. The distribution process was meticulously organised, ensuring that the right equipment reached the intended beneficiaries.
