KHERONI, Jan 6: An awareness campaign on road safety was successfully organised at Diyungmukh Higher Secondary School, highlighting critical aspects of traffic laws and citizen safety.
The event was spearheaded by Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Diyungmukh Police Station, Nilutpal Bhuyan, who addressed the gathering and shed light on the importance of adhering to road safety measures.
The campaign witnessed an overwhelming response with participation from women’s organisations, youths, students, eminent personalities, Self-Help Groups, anganwadi workers, and members of the Nagarik (Samiti) Committee.
OC Bhuyan, along with his team, provided a detailed explanation of the new legal provisions aimed at enhancing the criminal justice system, streamlining traffic management, and ensuring the safety of all road users.
The interactive session concluded with a Q&A segment, where attendees actively engaged with the police team, raising queries and seeking clarity on road safety protocols and legal aspects.
