KOKRAJHAR, June 16: Pramod Boro, the chief executive member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region, visited the chief minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), at his official residence, Mintokgang in Sikkim on Saturday evening.
CEM Boro met with the leader of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party and chief minister Tamang, who has taken oath for a second consecutive term after securing the largest majority in the recently concluded assembly elections in Sikkim.
During the meeting, CEM Boro conveyed his best wishes and congratulations to Tamang for his successful second term and congratulated the SKM party on forming the government in Sikkim. Both leaders discussed strengthening communication, enhancing cultural cooperation between Sikkim and Bodoland Territorial Region, and fostering sustainable development and welfare initiatives.
Boro expressed his immense pleasure at meeting chief minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay at his official residence, Mintokgang. He conveyed his best wishes for a successful second term and congratulated the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party on forming the government. Boro praised the chief minister’s unwavering commitment to public service and dedication to the people, which have resulted in remarkable progress in Sikkim. He eagerly anticipated witnessing even more positive developments under chief minister Tamang-Golay’s leadership.
In response, chief minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) appreciated Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, for his visit to Sikkim.
