Demow Drama Practicing Centre inaugurated

DEMOW, Aug 7: The Demow Drama Practicing Centre was inaugurated in the Demow Jyoti-Bishnu Cultural Building (Demow Public Hall) on Wednesday. On the occasion, Hamida Begum, a retired professor of Demow College and president of the Demow Drama Practicing Centre, lit the ceremonial lamp. Hindu Jyoti Gogoi compered the program.

During the event, Hamida Begum, Pollabita Gogoi Boruah, chairman of Demow Municipal Board, Mrinal Ranjan Gogoi, retired teacher of Demow Higher Secondary School, Pubali Thengal Gogoi, principal of Demow Nritalaya, Purnanda Phukan, a social worker, and Dr Gitali Saikia, HOD of the English department at HCDG College Nitaipukhuri, spoke on the occasion. Dulumoni Bordoloi is the chairperson of the Demow Drama Practicing Centre. Guardians and drama artists were also present at the inauguration program.
