DEMOW, April 17: The Swastha Sewa Utsav started in the hospitals from April 6 in Assam which ended on April 8.
In Swastha Sewa Utsav the Demow Model Hospital CUM CHC situated in Demow Konwar Dehingia Gaon secured first rank in Swasthya Sewa Utsav in Sivasagar on basis of evaluation.

The Demow Model Hospital cum CHC situated in Demow Konwar Dehingia Gaon scored 84.75 percentage with A Grade. The Demow Model Hospital cum CHC also got the Kayakalp Awards.
The snake bite treatment is also available in the Demow Model Hospital cum CHC and the Demow Model Hospital cum-CHC registered 573 snake bite cases in 2022 (January 1 to December 31, 2022) registered zero death.
The doctors, nurses and health staff expressed happiness for the achievement. The Swasthya Sewa Utsav was held at eight different Hospitals under Demow Block Primary Health Centre (BPHC). On the other hand the Demow Block Primary Health Centre (BPHC) situated in Demow Chariali secured third rank in Swastha Sewa Utsav in Sivasagar on basis of evaluation and scored 70.85 percentage.
