HAMREN, March 12: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of KAAC, Tuliram Ronghang on Wednesday said that KAAC will take steps to implement development schemes, in his speech at KAAC interaction proggramme in Amreng.
Later the CEM laid the foundations for 30 schemes under NEC.
The CEM, in his speech, further promised to look into the problems of Amreng MAC constituency and find the solution through discussion.
The foundation was symbolically laid at the office of Socheng Development Block office for the all schemes worth Rs 5 crore.
The schemes included construction of Anganwadi Centre at Taskai; construction of godown for dried broom at Phanglagso, Jirikindeng; construction of godown for ginger storage at Mokoilum at Serpangri: ginger seed godown at Rongchejeng; construction of Market at Mukro near forest gate; SHG hat at Jirikindeng; construction of piggery at Taseng for Pangrum Producer Group and others.
Former MP Horen Sing Bey attended the programme along with Executive Members of KAAC, D Uphing Maslai, Madhuram Lekthe, Tillotama Hasnu and Madhurya Dhekial Phukan; Karbi traditional king Long Sing Ronghang; and senior officials of KAAC.
