Keshab Mahanta reviews progress of Baghara Medical College construction

MORIGAON, June 22: 
Keshab Mahanta, the Guardian minister and minister of Health and Family Welfare department, conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of Baghara Medical College and Hospital in Morigaon district on Thursday.
Accompanying him during the inspection were Devasish Sharma, IAS, deputy commissioner of Morigaon, Hemanta Kr Das, APS, SP Morigaon, Dyotiva Bora, ACS, additional deputy commissioner, joint director of Health Services, PWD (Building), and other officials from the Health department.
The minister emphasised the importance of expediting the construction work and urged the PWD (Building) officials to ensure the timely completion of the project. The Baghara Medical College and Hospital have been eagerly anticipated in the region, and once operational, it will offer vital healthcare services to the local population.
Following the inspection, the minister proceeded to evaluate the erosion-affected area of Balidunga under the Bhuragaon Revenue Circle.
