MANGALDAI, Sept 1: A multispecialty health camp was organised at Patharighat HS School recently under the auspices of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) in collaboration with the school’s NSS unit. During the camp, health examinations were conducted for over 200 students from various local schools, and medications were provided based on the individual needs of the students. The primary goal of the program was to raise awareness among children about health issues and to encourage them to prioritise their well-being.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Ramesh Chandra Goswami, nodal officer, RBSK, in the presence of Dulal Chandra Kalita, principal, Patharighat HS School; Dr Washim Faruk Choudhury, eye specialist; Dr Homendra Kumar Nath, MO; Dr Ratika Kalita, district coordinator, RBSK; Dr Brajen Dutta, psychologist; Dr Makibul Islam, audiologist, MCH; Dr Shafil Kafi, MS, ENT; Dr Lanima Choudhury, BDS; Dr Dhrubajyoti Sarma, MO, RBSK; Himangshu Deka, block coordinator, Barichowka; Bijit Kumar Nath, pharmacist; Karabi Devi, pharmacist; Namita Devi, ANM; Imratun Nessa, ANM; and Dr Mokhlisur Rahman, program officer, NSS unit, Patharighat HS School.
