SIVASAGAR, Nov 21: Akhil Gogoi, the leader of Raijor Dal, inaugurated a new campaign called “Raijor Majoloi, Raijor Dal” on Monday to raise awareness against alleged anti-constitutional activities. The event commenced at the historic Rang Ghar Bakori (foreyard), where Raijor Dal activists, accompanied by their leaders, embarked on a journey on foot from Rangghar to Sivadoul, followed by a bicycle procession.

Speaking to the media, Akhil Gogoi accused the BJP of engaging in activities that disrupt the fabric of the Indian nation through religious polarization. He expressed Raijor Dal’s readiness to provide substantial support to Gaurav Gogoi if he chooses to contest from the Jorhat Parliamentary Seat in 2024, emphasising that this support is not aimed at strengthening the Congress party but rather defeating the BJP.
